Webkinz Recipes and More!
Are your kids having trouble figuring out recipes on Webkinz World? These unique toys that allow children and young people to create a pet online can be much more complicated than you might expect. Despite the tutorials on the main Webkinz site, and despite the many websites dedicated to these adorable pets, it can be hard to know exactly what to do! This is especially true for younger children like mine and for recipes in particular. After helping them get over creating “junk” (the stuff that’s produced from failed recipes), I thought it would be great to share some helpful tips.
How do you find the recipes? In Webkinz world there are recipes so you can let your pet try something new. You have to have 3 different specific foods and put them in the oven, in the sandwich maker, in the blender or on the grill. But how do you find these recipes? There are 2 different ways. One way is to watch TV by turning on your Webkinz TV and selecting the cooking channel. Chef Gazpacho tells you many great and interesting recipes and they are always different. This is a great way to learn exactly what works! If you don’t have a TV, you shouldn’t rush to buy one for your pet. An easy alternative is to visit the W-Shop and simply buy a recipe book, although many of these recipes are not that interesting in my experience.
Different kitchen appliances.– For cooking there are four different appliances. There is a stove, a sandwich maker, a barbecue and a blender. While it’s great to have all these different appliances to make your pet a nice meal, you do have to be careful! If you put the wrong ingredients in an appliance, you’ll end up with ‘dirt’. We’ll talk a bit more about ‘dirt’ in a bit, but for now know that your pet won’t eat it. For example; if you were making a sandwich in the oven you would get dirt, but if you were making a sandwich in the sandwich maker you would succeed and have a delicious sandwich for your Webkinz pet to enjoy. The oven is used to make things like spaghetti and cakes. The sandwich maker is obviously for making sandwiches, the blender is for making things like shakes and milkshakes, and the barbecue is for making things like burgers. To find more recipes for the barbecue or blender, remember that you can buy a cookbook, it will contain many delicious recipes for your Webkinz.
The garbage problem– If you decide to experiment with recipes and they don’t turn out well, they will turn into goo. You’ll also create messes if you try a recipe in the wrong appliance or just use the wrong ingredient. However, even if your Webkinz doesn’t like dirt, you can still sell it at the W store. There are many different colors of dirt, but they are all worth the same amount of Kinzcash.
