Top Ten MLB Gifts Baseball Fans Would Love

One hundred baseball fans were surveyed to find out the top ten baseball-related items they would most like to receive as gifts. The responses were quite mixed and ranged from the practical to the ridiculous. We cut out the outliers and compiled a reasonable list to help you choose the right gift for that sports fan. Read on for the results:

  1. Custom baseball uniforms. Boston Red Sox fans would like, more than anything, to be a part of their championship team; The next best thing, they said, was to at least have a uniform named after them. You can’t go wrong with custom jerseys or jerseys for any MLB fan. Just make sure they print the right name and logo if you want to get a smile instead of a raise from your recipient.
  2. Baseball memorabilia. A Hall of Fame autographed baseball is at the top of most people’s wish list. Some say they already have a spot on their shelves waiting to be filled with these specialty items. However, these souvenirs can be a bit expensive. However, if you have money to spare, this would make a great gift and perhaps a good investment as well.
  3. Major League Baseball Monopoly Sets. Kid fans crave this new edition of a classic game. I bet they’ll have no problem getting their dad and friends involved in a long round of team swapping and property grabbing.
  4. Custom baseball bats. Youth League Players Say Custom Bats Are The Best! Kids are sure to be inspired by that custom gear they can show off during minor league games.
  5. Sports mouse pads. Sports fans can be techies too! The survey says that these technicians would love to receive mouse pads with their favorite team’s logo on them. A matching mouse will not go unnoticed.
  6. MLB cufflinks. From techies to yuppies: stylish youngsters can’t do without cufflinks. There are a wide variety of designs available in the market. Choose from classic two-tone pieces to bold, colorful and quirky baseball designs. With these unique pieces, you can be sure that you have a unique gift.
  7. Personalized sports dog bowls. Apparently, most of the baseball fans we surveyed are also dog lovers. If you can’t find the ideal gift for the person, why not find something for the dog?
  8. Team baseball caps. Get an authentic team cap or a signed one. What is baseball without baseball caps? It is the basic equipment for any fan.
  9. Wall graphics logo. These are especially suitable for children and adolescents. Get them their own room and decorate it baseball style. Maybe it’s just what the boy needs to push him to become the next Babe Ruth!
  10. Custom poufs. These fans surveyed don’t care if it fits in with the rest of the decor; They would still love to have one!

Perhaps a hundred fans is too small a sample to give a definitive ranking of favorite sporting goods, but I’d say you’d be safe picking in the top ten, depending on the personality of the person you’re giving the gift to. Just think about it for a bit and then let go of the stress. It’s a gift, it’s free, and it’s special: as long as you don’t mess up the gear, you’ll be fine.
