We treat this beginning as the seed moment of what has begun to unfold. As the seed of a plant already contains all the information necessary for the plant to grow into the complete plant.
When we make a chart for a baby, we know what potential it has for this life.
The quality or seed of this beginning is determining the deployment of those possibilities in the amount of time that elapses. Imagine a book that already contains the whole story, but we need a lot of time available to read it and enjoy the whole story.
Astrology works vertically. It uses the planets as a symbolic map to raise our consciousness to greater wisdom and understanding and helps us align with the choreography of the universal laws and forces that we, as well as the planets, are a part of.

The square is an aspect with friction and challenge between the two connected planets. Mercury in Libra likes to consider both sides, weighing arguments, keeping an open mind, and asking questions. Mars in Cancer tends to defend the local territory at any cost.
