Natural remedies to cleanse your liver: detoxify your liver

The holiday season is over and now it’s time to take care of your liver. The liver is your body’s main laboratory and is responsible for detoxification processes. It has many more functions and responsibilities, but we will talk about this. The liver processes alcohol and fatty foods and turns them into ingredients to be consumed by your body – it’s hard work! So when it’s time for your liver cleanse, consider this:

What food and product does our liver like?

– Pumpkin in all its forms, vegetable soups

– Lent, light types of meat; turkey, chicken, beef

– Non-fatty fish, cold pressed olive oil,

– Male wheat, oatmeal; chamomile and dog rose teas

– Cottage cheese (2%), no more than 100-200 grams per day

NOTE: Do not clean if:

– You have kidney or gallbladder stones.

– You have a fever, headache, weakness.

– You have an acute illness or internal inflammation.

– You have heart or kidney problems.

– During premenstrual syndrome or period

– If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Drastic and radical liver cleansing methods are not recommended, especially now when our liver is already stressed … So here are some effective natural remedies and methods to clean your liver smoothly and painlessly:

– Peel 2-3 beets; boil until soft. Strain and then drink this beet water, 3/4 of a glass several times a day for two weeks.

– Make a juice, a mixture of: 200 g of carrot, 60 g of parsley and 150 g of celery. Drink this mixture every day in the morning on an empty stomach.

– Half a glass of sauerkraut brine (pickled), half a glass of natural tomato juice (freshly squeezed), add a quarter glass of pure water, mix everything together. Drink this mixture three times a day 10-15 minutes after your meal.

– Milk thistle is very beneficial for the liver. Take milk thistle capsules (follow the directions and dosage on the bottle).

Note: Check with your doctor before using any of these methods.
