Description
The Doral Monticello Power Cruiser is a top-of-the-line vessel that offers space and comfort. This 28 foot motor yacht is a solid 6000 pound 8’5″ beam magic carpet that will take you anywhere in comfort. The boat is available with either gasoline or diesel engines. The diesel model has 230 horsepower and has the feel of a much larger boat.Fuel capacity is 75-100 gallons for extended range.
Come aboard the Doral 250 and feel like you are on a much bigger ship. The functional layout of the cockpit features a dual helm position, with a deck chair to port. Aft is a two-position rear saloon and a large U-shaped seating area. The cockpit has an open space feel with a table that converts to provide a sun lounger for two. Step inside the cabin to experience the cozy amenities found on the Doral 250. There is an incredible amount of space on this cruise ship. The acrylic cabin door slides easily on its vinyl tracks to reveal four berths inside, with a fixed aft double dinette conversion forward. The impression of spaciousness is enhanced by the stylish portside galley containing a fridge, single burner, microwave, sink and plenty of storage space. All cabinets are elegantly finished and varnished. and berber rugs are available.
To starboard is the head compartment with its sea toilet, sink and shower and water heater. There is a first-aid kit, a mirror on the door, a wicket curtain that opens, a faucet in the shower sink. There is also a 110 volt electrical box with a 110 volt outlet cover.
Also to starboard, the helm position features a VHF DSC radio and Garmin GPS/plotter. Most models are equipped with 12V batteries, alternator, inverter, ground and cable, holding tank, and macerator. Models come with warm air heating, trim tab indicator, TV antenna, forward sun cushion, remote spotlight, windlass anchor, warps/fenders, boat hook, navigation lights and 6 cell CD stereo. There is also an outboard motor mount in the engine compartment.
Safety features include a fire extinguisher in the engine compartment and a fire blanket. The stern door is to port and leads to a large extended bathing platform, complete with stainless steel ladder. The platform has lockable accessible storage and flush hatch, and can be fitted with a diving platform.
