Cool NBA accessories: a trendy fad

With the fashion industry booming, it’s hard to see someone or something that doesn’t keep up with the trend. Gadgets, accessories, men’s and women’s clothing, office supplies, pets, and many others are loaded with style and fashion statements. Who goes in and who goes out? Sports are not, especially in the NBA.

Throughout NBA history, we have witnessed the stars rise and fall; we have seen basketball icons that have matured and aged in sports; and we have noticed the inevitable changes they have undergone. Fashion is no exception. In fact, they have learned to live with it, not because they like it, but for reasons that people sometimes don’t understand. We’ve seen them wear a variety of accessories, and no matter how awkward they look, they managed to start a trendy fad.

These basketball stars sometimes wear masks after a broken nose or facial injury. Others wear goggles or goggles to protect their eyes. We see that some of them wear headbands not because they are gay, but because they simply avoid strands of hair or even sweat to spoil the game. Bracelets and wristbands look best when worn by these players as they prevent sweat from dripping down their skin.

These are some of our favorite NBA icons who have sported unique fashion statements in a rather awkward way, but have still made their way into the fashion industry. In March 2004, Denver Nugget great man Zydrunas Ilgauskas was forced to wear a mask after breaking his nose, making him easily recognizable on the court. A more unique Brandon Williams, who only played 18 NBA games, wore a mask similar to Batman in a 1998 NBA season. The glasses were first seen on the NBA court in 1991 when the great Hakeem Olajuwon used them. Her neat knee pads also attracted attention. In 2005, the Detroit Pistons defensive specialist began wearing goggles or goggles after undergoing eye surgery. It may not look its best, but it did get a few points for its style. But when asked about the player who wears the most glasses, Horace Grant is most likely the first to come out. Glasses are also in fashion, first worn by one of the great players, George Mikan. At the Los Angeles Lakers, Kurt Rambis definitely had the coolest glass. The exceptional Ben Wallace demonstrated his power by being the first player to wear headbands instead of wristbands around his arms. When Allen Iverson injured his elbow, he began wearing a bracelet that immediately created a new trend in the NBA. Star Carmelo Anthony also sported the same style. What about the headbands? They are worn by men, including Wilt Chamberlain and Donald Earl Watts, the first basketball players to consistently wear a headband. Watts, however, didn’t use it as a fashion statement, instead wearing it to keep sweat from dripping into his eyes.

Whether these stars look cool or awkward, they surely have a unique taste for fashion. Head to an NBA store and you will find these weird but cool fashion accessories. Isn’t it nice to have one?
